Lil Wayne Threatening to Sue Martin Shkreli Over Leaked "Carter V" Songs

T-Pain and Lil Wayne are T-Wayne

And it's rare that an artist hints at a project the same day that it's due, so T-Pain might have just taken home the biggest W of the surprise-album game for 2017 so far.

In the 2009, T-Pain teamed up with Lil Wayne to record a bunch of tracks for their collaborative T-Wayne album that was unfortunately shelved. I mean dang; it's been on hold for like 8 years.

On Twitter, T-Pain asked the question "Do It?" along with revealing the artwork for T-Wayne, which we presume is him asking if he should drop it? He tweeted: "These the lost files from '09 and I'm exhausted of em just sitting on my hard drive". "I'm feelin reeeeeaaaaalll spontaneous right now #2009 #TheMissingPageInTheHistoryBook", Pain said in his caption.

The 34-year-old businessman first played sections on an internet live stream in December last year (16) and reportedly promised Wayne's representatives not to leak any more songs from the album.

What are your thoughts? Nobody has heard that record but-you guessed it-rich asshole Martin Shkreli, who claims he bought it legally.

UPDATE: T-Pain has finally dropped the long-awaited project unexpectedly today, May 18, on Soundcloud.

The photo attached to the tweet appears to be a cover for T-Wayne, as it features a sketch of half of T-Pain's face against half of Weezy's.

In addition to teasing fans with T-Wayne details, T-Pain also shared a new song titled "You Don't Know Shit".
