Bungie: Destiny 2 Won't Come To Nintendo Switch Because "It's Pretty Unrealistic"

Frozenbyte announced that their four-player cooperative, action-magic game Nine Parchments will be releasing on more than just the PC, PS4 and Xbox One this year. Check out various new ARMS characters and their abilities below. There's also a "Global Testpunch" demo coming at the end of May.

Speaking to IGN at Destiny 2's gameplay reveal event, project lead Mark Noseworthy initially said that Bungie has "no announcements to make about the Switch at this time".

Nintendo dug into its Switch-exclusive fighting game ARMS in a Nintendo Direct video last night, revealing a ton of ways players can customize their fighters with different boxing gloves, unique game modes, and three new fighters. They can use the Roller, Slosher, Splatling, and the new Dualies.

Hoops - this game is a much wackier idea that's played on a basketball court. Each ARM has its own element attribute, special attack, and weight. If your arm is heavier, it will move slower but can push past your opponent's punch to land a hit.

Finally, 10 new characters will become available on the game's launch.

Grand Prix and Party Match modes are also going to be part of the game.

Nintendo also mentioned that they will support ARMS in the future.

The decision to sell a cardboard box may seem utterly weird - even if excitement for the game is at peak levels right now - but it speaks to how much faith Nintendo has in the game. We want to know whether the broadcast has convinced you to take the plunge and get the game, whether you're waiting for the Testpunch first or if you've been on board from the start. All users need to do is download the demo from the Switch eShop before the trial begins. So far we've had sequels, or ports of existing games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe being released, or small indie titles.
