Bill Cosby walks from the courtroom during jury deliberations in his sexual assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown Pa. Tuesday

Downtown Norristown, where the famous comedian is awaiting a verdict in his sexual assault case at the Montgomery County courthouse, is a rundown suburb dotted with row homes, a few automotive shops, and fast food restaurants.

The judge praised them for being remarkably conscientious as they consider three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault that could put Cosby in prison for the rest of his life.

For all the ways the judge in Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial has streamlined the case inside the courtroom, the frenzy outside grows larger and wilder each day of jury deliberations.

After about a one-hour delay to determine which portions of Constand's testimony would be read, the court reporter read back the testimony.

For the third straight day, the jury in Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial is set to deliberate today whether the comedian sexually assaulted accuser Andrea Constand in 2004. Brian McMonagle, one of Cosby's lawyers, highlighted Constand's inconsistencies.

Cosby's lawyer said he and Constand were lovers sharing a consensual moment of intimacy. The defense also poked holes in Johnson's testimony, citing discrepancies in her recounting of the alleged incident. "At that point, judges will typically read the jury further instructions to encourage them to continue their deliberation and work to reach a unanimous verdict".

About 60 other women have made similar allegations against the former star of the hit 1980s TV family comedy The Cosby Show, but only Ms Constand's accusation is recent enough to allow for criminal prosecution.

The jury has been weighing Cosby's fate for more than 24 hours over three days.

In closing statements, they portrayed the actor as a sexual predator who deliberately drugged Constand so she would be unable to resist. She believes he gave her something stronger than Benadryl on the night she says he molested her. Under questioning, Constant acknowledged that she was telling that detail for the first time, and hadn't said anything about placing a pill under her tongue to police.

The jury had previously reviewed Cosby's version of events, contained in a deposition he gave in 2005 and 2006 as part of Constand's lawsuit against him and introduced by prosecutors at the criminal trial.

"In my head, I was trying to get my hands to move, get my legs to move, but I was frozen and those messages didn't get there", she said, her voice breaking. He said she didn't show any ill effects from the medicine, nor did she object as he groped her.

They also wanted to hear Cosby's wording when he referred to the three pills as "friends", as well as Constand's initial statements to authorities in Canada.

Brian McMonagle, an attorney for Bill Cosby, walks through the Montgomery County Courthouse on the third day of jury deliberations for Cosby's sexual assault trial in Norristown, Pennsylvania, U.S. June 14, 2017. His wife of 53 years, Camille, was not with him as she was on Monday, her first appearance since the trial began June 5.
