Transformers: The Last Knight tickets are live and can be bought anywhere across the USA the film releases later this month on June 21.

Seeing as the Transformers movies are mostly known for being explosive CGI showcases and not too much else, they might as well lean into it. Starring as Cade Yeager, Wahlberg joined the franchise in its previous entry, Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Paramount and Hasbro, who own the rights to the brand, are moving ahead with the next movie and are confident they can find the right director to helm the project and stick to their proposed release schedule. Look, with Mission: "Impossible, I understand you need very choreographed stunts, but I like dirty, sloppy stunts".

Michael Bay returns to the director's chair for the film, which is written by Iron Man scribes Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). He previously said that he was done with the series after he completed the first trilogy.

According to the star himself, Transformers: The Last Knight will be the final film in the franchise for Mark Wahlberg. "Us dealing with each other, it makes for a lot of great humor, and then I was kind of sent on this mission... to help save the world, bring the Transformers back together". Catch it in theaters June 21st. Maybe that buzz will change with The Last Knight and Wahlberg (and Bay) will leave with their heads held high and praise for their latest adventure - but until critics and general audiences get a chance to see the film, that possibility remains uncertain.

The video also gives us glimpses of Bay giving instructions to the crew members and supporting actors while directing in IMAX 3D. Then Bay, executive producer Steven Spielberg, and writer/producer Akiva Goldsman assembled a writers room to plan out where the Transformers can go in the future, including spinoff films.

Transformers: The Last Knight is directed by Michael Bay.
