US President Donald Trump is reportedly so incensed at claims he is being investigated for obstructing justice in the Russian Federation election probe that he has started screaming at television sets in the White House.

"As I said all weekend, there has been no notification to any of us that the President is under any investigation and as I said, James Comey has said on three separate occasions that the President is not under investigation", said Jay Sekulow, repeating an argument he also made on CNN's "State of the Union" with Jake Tapper on Sunday.

Also on Sunday, Sekulow appeared on CNN's Face The Nation and apparently confused host Jake Tapper so much that BuzzFeed wrote a story based on nine screenshots of Tapper looking perplexed during the interview.

"He, from every pronouncement we have seen, feels very strongly that he did nothing wrong, and he wants people to say that, because he feels very strongly about it", Rubio said.

"The MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN agenda is doing very well despite the distraction of the Witch Hunt", the Republican leader tweeted while away on his first weekend to Camp David, the official U.S. presidential retreat in the mountains of western Maryland.

On Sunday, Trump's attorney insisted that this is not the case, and that the President was merely reacting to a Washington Post story that first reported about an investigation for obstruction of justice.

Trump has decided that "this is a political fight and he's going to fight it", a White House official told CNN's Jeff Zeleny.

Sekulow concluded that the president can't be investigated for obstruction of justice, because he had full authority to fire Comey - something the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director himself pointed out in his testimony.

Cuomo kicked off the segment by noting the "obvious contradiction" between Trump's statement in a tweet that he is "under investigation", and his legal counsel's contention that he is not the subject of a probe by Robert Mueller. Tweet or no tweet, the president is not under investigation, according to Sekulow.

"If the president thinks he can fire Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein and replace him with someone who will shut down the investigation, he's in for a rude awakening", Sen.

"I'm not prepared to say that there's proof you could take to a jury, but I can say that there is enough that we ought to be investigating", says California's Rep. Adam Schiff.

He spoke on ABC's "This Week".

Attorney Jay Sekulow is defending President Donald Trump's use of social media, even though Sekulow himself has denied d, even though Trump's recent tweets.

Rubio said it's in the best interests of the country to have a "full-scale investigation that looks at everything, so that we can move forward". Of course, as the professor points out, Rosenstein's recusal is not terribly pressing, since the appointment of a special counsel removed him from the investigation anyway.

The president suggested on Twitter that he may have taped those conversations. He says that President Donald Trump, Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes and Democratic lawmakers should not be presuming an outcome.
