In a report by the police department, the 30-year-old actor was arrested by officers around 12:25 a.m. Miles was reportedly offered an opportunity to go to a detox centre, where he could stay for a few hours to sober up, but he refused.

The law enforcement officers were hoping that Teller would cooperate once he was there, but that didn't happen. When he continued to be uncooperative with the facility's staff, the police arrested him on the charge of being drunk and disorderly in public.

Teller has since been released.
