Aaron Carter Arrested for DUI and Marijuana Possession in Ga

Aaron Carter has been arrested.

Carter has been released on bond, the HCSO confirms, while Parker remains jailed.

According to the Habersham County Sheriff's Office, Carter's vehicle was stopped along Georgia 385 near Carpenters Cove after reports of a auto driving erratically.

Aaron's representative explained that he has been traveling for his latest hit single, "Sooner or Later", across the southeast when his new tire went out of alignment.

He claims he was in fix garage Auto Zone in Cornelia to get a vehicle tyre fixed when he was arrested by police officers. However, inside the store, he was arrested by several policemen with aggression.

Aaron Carter tweeted out a public statement on Sunday in which he dismissed his brother's tweet and said he was targeted by police because he is a celebrity.

Who is Madison Parker, Aaron Carter's girlfriend?

"Aaron holds a medical license for medical marijuana for his long standing anxiety", the statement continued.

Ironically, before the arrest, Carter was on the record for saying he doesn't drink or get DUIs.

But as Aaron Carter's team tells it, the singer was not in a moving vehicle when he was arrested.

"You won't catch me getting any DUIs..."

He then added, then quickly deleted: "To be honest I don't owe people explanations, although I must say, your words are powerful, the accusations of me being on heavy drugs hurts".

Aaron Carter was arrested on Saturday night in Georgia along with his girlfriend.

He was reportedly released Sunday afternoon after posting bail for $4,610.

Aaron Carter, the brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, allegedly refused to blow into the breathalyzer, according to TMZ quoting the police of the county of Habersham.
