Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is working on a new mid-range smartphone named with Xiaomi Mi 5X. Dubbed the Xiaomi Mi 5X, the smartphone will be placed just in between the flagship and midrange offering from the Chinese company. The smartphone shown on the poster is very similar to the one that recently leaked, showing the first handset of the new sub- brand. The latest leak shows the specifications and price of upcoming Xiaomi Phone.

As per the leaked poster, the new Xiaomi Mi 5X would feature a 5.5 Full HD display with 1080 pixels of screen resolution.

The report also reveals that the alleged higher edition of the Xiaomi 5X will flaunt a rear dual camera setup consisting of two 12MP sensors (a Sony IMX386 sensor and a Samsung S5k3m3 sensor). Under the hood, the device would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. The Chinese firm is known for launching smartphones in multiple storage variants. However, the new leak reveals no details about the resolution of the display, but a previous leak claimed that it will most likely end up being 1080p, much like many other mid-range phones from Xiaomi. Earlier, the phone has stated to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 which is now replaced with the 625 chipset. An advertisement banner of the upcoming smartphone has now leaked online.

The LanMi X1 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 660 chipset, with options of 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The new sub- brand will reportedly focus on offline sales instead of the online market. If the price tag is true, then it will compete with the likes of Oppo and Vivo, which are giving a tough competition to Xiaomi in Mainland China. And the Xiaomi 5X could be the first Xiaomi device to have a 16MP selfie snapper. As for software, the smartphone will be running Android 7.1.1 Nougat layered with MIUI 9 on top.

Reports also suggest that the smartphone will release on July 26, which is a rumor, but not an official announcement from Xiaomi. All said, the Xiaomi 5X may not come to the Indian market.
