New information on Delphi murder case to be released Monday

Authorities investigating the murder of two IN teenagers on Monday issued a new sketch of the man they believe is the prime suspect.

A reward in excess of $230,000 is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for these murders, states the press release.

The person in the sketch is a man between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10, 180 to 220 pounds, white, with reddish brown hair, Indiana State Police said in a statement. They do not know his eye color. He is between 5 ft.

The sketch is "an artist's composite of the information" collected by all the agencies involved in the double-murder investigation, including the FBI, said Indiana State Police Sgt. Kim Riley.

The bodies of Abby Williams and Libby German were found near Deer Creek about a three-quarters mile east of Delphi in February of this year.

Abby Williams, 13, and Libby German, 14, were found dead in a wooded area the day after they were reported missing on February 13.

The girls were kidnapped and killed near a trail in Delphi. They ask the public to focus on the man's facial features.

The photos and audio came from Liberty's cellphone. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
