Le Chef du gouvernement Youssef Chahed a affirmé, lors du discours qu'il a prononcé, dans le cadre de son audition qui se tient actuellement à l'Assemblée des représentants du peuple (ARP), que le slogan actuel de la lutte contre la corruption est "personne ne doit bénéficier d'immunité".

Le locataire de la Kasbah s'est défendu que cette campagne soit sélective, affirmant qu'elle n'excepte ni n'immunise personne, quelle qu'en soit la position, ou la couleur politique. Et d'ajouter: "Personne n'est au-dessus de la loi et de l'Etat". Il s'agit de fausses accusations et qui cachent une mauvaise intention et une volonté de défendre les corrompus. "Certains ont parlé de sélection avant même de connaître la liste des personnes visées et la nature des soupçons qui pèsent sur elles", a-t-il dit.

La rencontre a permis, selon un communiqué de la présidence de la république, de passer en revue les derniers développements de la guerre contre la corruption et la stratégie du gouvernement pour conférer davantage d'efficacité et de rendement à l'action des mécanismes sécuritaires et judiciaires pour mener à bien cette guerre.

A cet égard, il s'est demandé comment des trafiquants sont considérés comme des adversaires politiques, comment se fait-il que des contrebandiers sont classés comme politiciens, répondant qu'ils n'ont rien de politique. Depuis quand des gens qui ont commis un crime contre l'économie nationale sont-ils devenus des opposants politiques? "Ceux qui useront de couverture politique pour couvrir la corruption ne passent pas", a-t-il prévenu, admettant que "dans la guerre contre la corruption, il n'y pas de neutralité, ou on est avec l'Etat ou avec la corruption, il n'y a pas de position de milieu". Les hommes d'affaires, qui respectent la loi, n'en sont pas concernés.

Il est à rappeler que le chef du gouvernement s'est entretenu, hier, avec le chef de l'Etat sur ces deux points. Quelles sont les chances de succès de Youssef Chahed.

Le chef du gouvernement a, toutefois, salué, ceux qui ont posé des interrogations légitimes sur cette guerre contre la corruption, les rassurant que le gouvernement est engagé à mener cette guerre et à lutter contre la corruption.
