Party boy Jake Paul has moved on from the Disney Channel

Jake Paul

While you may not have heard of the 20 year old USA social media star, 8.8 million subscribers certainly have and his notorious bad behaviour has been big internet news recently. The popular YouTube star has starred as Dirk Mann on Disney Channel's hit show Bizaardvark for the past year and a half, but it appears he'll be leaving the show part way through season two.

"I love my cast mates and will continue to support Disney, but I have outgrown the channel and feel its time to move forward in my career", he added.

Maytal Dahan, one of Jake's neighbours, told local Los Angeles news network KTLA 5 their road "used to be a really nice, quiet street".

He recently tweeted his address, hundreds of fans turned up, and neighbours accused him of turning the street into a "warzone". In the interview, Paul climbed the news channel's van, said there was essentially nothing anybody could do to stop him, and shouted "what are thoooooose" at the anchor's shoes - an homage to an infamous Vine - before fleeing the scene. At this point in time I am wanting to focus more on my personal brand, my Youtube channel, business ventures, growing Team 10 and working on more adult acting role.

"It's awful, it's a bad situation and I feel bad for [my neighbors], but there's nothing we can do", Paul told the cameras outside his Beverly Grove home on July 17. He has nearly nine million subscribers on YouTube, and recently released his first single, "It's Everyday Bro", which debuted at no2 on iTunes and garnered more than 27m views on YouTube within a week.

Considering all the good and bad attention surrounding Jake, it is safe to say people have pretty strong opinions about him.

Bizaardvark, a show about teenagers who make videos for a YouTube-like online channel, has featured a handful of guests with a significant presence on the digital medium.

The fallout was big news on social media with Jake defending his behaviour.
