New pair-ups always bring freshness to the screen and the recent buzz in Bollywood is that Deepika Padukone and Varun Dhawan might collaborate for a flick.

Since then everybody is eagerly waiting for Shoojit to announce Varun's leading lady.

"October" is rumored to be a rom-com majorly revolving around Varun's character and hence Deepika will not have the meaty parts that she is used to yet looking at the filmography and the kind of films Shoojit makes, Deepika might be so keen to play a role in the film. "Soojit da Ronnie and Juhi have always made good cinema Im very lucky to get a chance to work with them", Varun captioned a picture he's shared on Insta with the ace film maker.

Talking about October, Shoojit told Hindustan Times: "It's again an out-of-the-box kind of story".

The report claims that the film is a romantic comedy and wont have anything substantial for the leading actress.

Varun expressed his excitement in an interview about his upcoming project.

It will surely be delightful to see Deepika and Varun together for this unusual story.

Padukone is now shooting for Padmavati and Dhawan is wrapping up Judwaa 2 opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.
