F-bombs away? Media struggles with expletives of Anthony Scaramucci

Here's a clip from last night's President Show, where Anthony Atamanuik's Donald Trump is joined by Mario Cantone as the new White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, who offers plenty of high praise for Trump as well as more warnings for Reince Preibus.

Levy said the Times concluded that it was newsworthy that a top Trump aide would use such language, and its readers shouldn't have to search elsewhere to find out what Scaramucci said.

Later, Scaramucci said Priebus had leaked a story to Lizza as revenge for not being invited to dinner with the President.

During that conversation, which Lizza said he recorded, Scaramucci "made 100 percent clear to me, look, 'I understand that interview was not off the record, [it's] totally within your rights to publish it.' I don't want to say anything more about that conversation, but that was the takeaway from that conversation".

Scaramucci has not apologized for the interview or the words against Priebus and Bannon, instead tweeting Thursday that he "made a mistake" trusting a reporter. During the conversation, he said that he spoke about the leaks with Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his "buddies in the Federal Bureau of Investigation".

"Newt Gingrich, a former House speaker and frequent outside adviser to Trump, said in an interview that Scaramucci's attacks on Priebus are problematic".

"I have three to four people I'll fire tomorrow.

So, if Reince wants to explain that he's not a leaker, let him do that".

Scaramucci also told The New Yorker that unlike Bannon, he had no interest in media attention.

When the Lizza would not reveal his source, Scaramucci began ranting at Lizza about leaks coming from the White House and saying he was going to fire people if the source was revealed.

"The Mooch", as he is known, said: "They'll all be fired by me". "She was hitting me very hard", he said. Scaramucci believed Priebus had been disturbed by the dinner because he was not invited.

Before founding SkyBridge in 2005, Mr. Scaramucci co-founded investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, and he was also a vice president in private wealth management at Goldman Sachs & Co, according to his profile on the SkyBridge Capital website.

Three-foot putts are not to be taken lightly; even the pros miss them from time to time, so the fact that Trump is making those putts could, in and of itself, be impressive.

At Thursday's White House press briefing, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders avoided giving a direct answer when asked whether Trump has confidence in Priebus.

For the White House communications czar - the biggest gig in the world for a spokesperson - here's one that ought to qualify: Not having a clue how "off the record" works. Six months later, Scaramucci's close relationship with the president trumped the opposition of Priebus and Bannon.

"In my experience, he's of the belief that sometimes a little friction in the ranks is how you surface the best ideas", Gerstman said of Trump. "People know my history between me and Reince".
