An Ohio woman 45 called 911 on Thursday around 2pm saying that a boa constrictor had wrapped itself around her neck and was biting her face. She told a dispatcher that she had rescued two boa constrictors the day before and had nine ball

The boa constrictor was one of two snakes she had rescued the day before, though the paper doesn't specify how or where.

The 911 dispatcher who took her call said she had never heard of anything like this before.

A Sheffield Lake woman got herself into quite a pickle yesterday, when her recently rescued pet boa constrictor wrapped itself around her body and began to bite her face. "Can you pry its jaw open if you picked at the jaw?"

That woman on East Lake Road refused to talk about her experience Friday, but gave 911 an earful.

The Fire Department would not release the name of the woman but said she was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening. A firefighter used a pocketknife to cut off the snake's head.

Crews arrived to find the 5-foot snake wrapped around the woman's neck and biting her nose in the woman's driveway.

In the 911 call, the woman sounds panicked while asking for help. The snake was then put in a trash bin. "Because of how close it was wrapped around her, there were no other options, from what I understand".
