Trump Says No 'Chaos!' at White House but Continues Threats

The White House announced that John Kelly, 67, a retired marine general, has taken over as the new White House chief of staff, replacing Reince Priebus who was sacked after continued feud among the senior White House staffers came out in the open. But, in a turbulent day, Gen. John Kelly was in as Chief of Staff, and Anthony Scaramuccci was out as communications director.

President Trump said, "We look forward to, if it's possible, an even better job".

Anthony Scaramucci's hasty exit from his role as President Donald Trump's communications director dominated the topic of conversation on late-night television Monday.

According to a CBS News report, Scaramucci had "previously bragged that he would report directly to the president rather than the chief of staff".

Over on THE LATE SHOW, host Stephen Colbert said farewell to the former White House communications director with a new rendition of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. The president said he will also take a swing at immigration reform.

Kelly and Mattis agreed that one of them should remain in the country at all times to monitor orders coming out of the White House, the official said.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, White House Press Secretary, released a statement after Scaramucci's dismissal. He was sacked as President Donald Trump's communications director - and listed as dead in Harvard Law School's alumni directory.

David Lapan, assistant secretary for public affairs at Homeland Security, said Kelly had been traveling back from the West Coast on a work-related trip before Mr. Trump tweeted about the staffing change.

- President Donald Trump continues to try to push through his agenda.

Anthony Scaramucci will reportedly be taking to the Internet live Friday to tell his version of his sudden ouster from the White House.

After his 10 controversy-filled days in the White House, Mr Scaramucci said he is "now going to go dark".
