Potentially set to start at linebacker for the Miami Dolphins, rookie second-round pick Raekwon McMillan was looking to prove himself in his National Football League debut Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons. Miami has a lot of optimism surrounding McMillan and will have to hope the injury is not a major one.

McMillan played at Ohio State from 2014 to 2016, racking up 275 tackles and earning first-team All-Big Ten recognition as a junior. He walked off the field on his own, but didn't return to the game.

The linebacker was listed as a starter for the Dolphins on the team's unofficial depth chart. Aikens should be back out there for next week's game. The 26-year old also has collected one interception in his time in the National Football League, after being drafted out of Liberty University.

Miami has battled injuries in training camp, with first-team players Ryan Tannehill and Jay Ajayi both sidelined. Ajayi is now in the NFL's concussion protocol program and was unable to participate in this game.
