Drake, Future sued by a woman raped at concert

TMZ reports that rappers Drake and Future are being sued by a woman claiming she was raped at their concert by a man associated with the venue where it was held.

The woman - listed as "Jane Doe" - says she attended the duo's show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville last August.

Police have identified the suspect in the case as Leavy Johnson, a 38-year-old who was indicted on the rape charge in January and was arrested in April. Johnson had outstanding warrants for assault at the time of the alleged rape, per E! In addition, she argues that the defendants had a duty to ensure that their employees, agents and independent contractors did not harm concert attendees. The victim says Drake, Future and the Bridgestone Arena should have known employing Johnson was risky to others.

Drake and Future have been hit with a $25 million lawsuit by a female fan who attended their Summer Sixteen tour previous year.

In 2016, Drake and Future collaborated on the Summer Sixteen tour that became the highest grossing hip-hop tour of that year, grossing more than $84 million over the course of 56 dates.

Reps for Drake and Future had no comment on the matter.

What are your thoughts on Doe holding the rappers, among others, accountable for the incident?
