Judge Throws Out Fired DJ's Suit Against Taylor Swift

Day Two After a mostly middle-aged jury of six women (one black, one Asian and four white) and two men (one white, one Hispanic) was selected, the trial began.

This claim is for a symbolic $1, with Taylor Swift stating that she wants the opportunity to stand up and be the voice for other women, and it will still be considered by the jury. He's seeking up to $3 million, saying the allegation cost him his job and reputation.

Testimony has resumed in a civil trial over whether Taylor Swift was groped by a former radio DJ.

Music superstar Taylor Swift told a USA court on August 10 of her shock as she realized she was being groped during a photo opportunity in Colorado, as she faced the former DJ she accuses of assaulting her. "So in my opinion, I knew he touched her", he said.

Swift used the word "ass" dozens of times on the witness stand as she told jurors that David Mueller reached under her skirt during a meet-and-greet photo op in 2013. All affirmed or said they saw no reason to doubt Swift's allegations. Mueller testified he did not grope Swift. Martinez did say there's evidence to support a damages claim over the KYGO contract but not for future earnings. Martinez also threw out the claims of slander and that Swift was responsible for the actions of Bell and company.

The judge said that "Taylor Swift did not act improperly".

Earlier this week, Swift and her mother, Andrea, testified in front of the court. At the end of the day, Swift hugged her lawyer and family.
