Scott Glenn joins Hulu's Castle Rock

Scott Glenn is now part of the Marvel universe in its Netflix shows. A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King's most loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of ME woodland.

Veteran actor Scott Glenn has been added to the cast of Hulu's King-multiverse series as retired Sheriff Alan Pangborn, a man who knows all about the darkness lurking beneath the surface of Castle Rock (via TVLine). "He makes appearances in both "Daredevil" and "#The Defenders" as Stick.Another recent role of his was as Kevin Garvey, Sr.in "The Leftovers." . We won't know exactly what Abrams has in mind for Castle Rock until the show drops some time in 2018. The town of Castle Rock features in a large number of King works, including his classic novels Cujo, The Dead Zone, The Dark Half and Needful Things.

Castle Rock is based on characters and situations created by Stephen King. Many of King's stories take place in ME, whether it be in real or fictional towns. Back in February, there was a teaser trailer released. The character was previously portrayed onscreen by Ed Harris and Michael Rooker. His wife, Annie, and son, Todd, were killed in a auto crash and he's left with one son, Al.

The cast of Castle Rock includes Melanie Lynskey (Togetherness), Andre Holland (Moonlight), Jane Levy (Don't Breathe), Sissy Spacek (Carrie) and Bill Skarsgard (It). Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason developed the project for television and serve as executive producers along with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer.

Castle Rock is now filming and will most likely debut on Hulu at some point next year.
