How to help: Resource guide to support Hurricane Harvey rescue efforts

Disasters like the flooding that has followed Hurricane Harvey, displacing thousands of people, always create a tremendous need for help - and a tremendous desire to provide that help. Meanwhile, Harvey has made its way back out to sea, is strengthening, and is expected to soon make another landfall in Louisiana.

The Archdiocese of Santa Fe announced Tuesday that the two entities are collecting donations online to be given to Catholic Charities in southeast Texas and Louisiana. "My mom, sisters & I will be donating $500,000 to @redcross and @salvationarmyus today #HoustonStrong".
