La confiance des Français dans l'exécutif est aussi faible pour le chef de l'Etat que pour le Premier ministre, puisque 63% de sondés affirment ne pas faire confiance à Emmanuel Macron, Edouard Philippe ou au gouvernement pour réformer efficacement le Code du travail.

Pour une majorité très large des personnes interrogées (71% contre 29%), la réforme va "réduire le pouvoir des syndicats dans les entreprises".

Près de deux Français sur trois (63%) pensent que le code du travail actuel est inadapté au monde du travail d'aujourd'hui, d'après un sondage OpinionWay publié mercredi.

Les Français sont attachés à leurs droits sociaux. Certes, neuf personnes sondées sur dix estiment qu'il faut réformer le code du travail; mais ils ne sont que 40% à vouloir des changements en "profondeur ". À peine 43% des Français (contre 57%) pensent que la réforme va "améliorer la compétitivité des entreprises", 36% (contre 64%) qu'elle va "améliorer la croissance" et 31% qu'elle va "permettre de réduire le chômage". Selon cette enquête, 58% des Français se disent opposés aux ordonnances, contre 42% qui y sont favorables.

Mais les Français ne sont pourtant pas radicalement opposés à ces réformes, puisque mis à part l'encadrement des indemnités prud'homales en cas de licenciement abusif, aucune mesure ne suscite à elle seule un jugement défavorable.

D'après ce sondage, 50% des personnes interrogées estiment que les salariés eux-mêmes, par référendum, sont les plus à même de représenter l'ensemble des salariés dans l'entreprise, devant les représentants du personnel (35%) et les délégués syndicaux (14%).

Enquête réalisée en ligne entre le 16 et le 19 août 2017 auprès de 1.014 salariés de 18 ans et plus selon la méthode des quotas.
