Joseph Gordon Levitt has a secret cameo in Star Wars The Last Jedi

The film, which is the sequel to "Star Wars: The Jast Jedi" due out this winter, was originally set to hit movie theaters in May 2019, but the director dilemma caused the Disney-owned studio to push back the release date to December 20, 2019.

"My very good friend, the actor Joseph Gordon Levitt, who is in a movie I made called Looper, he does a cameo as a voice of an alien in the film.It's a very brief, little thing but it's fun".

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit United Kingdom cinemas on December 15.

It's nearly as if, like Emperor Palpatine himself, Lucasfilm's overconfidence is their weakness.

Today, Lucasfilm publicist Tracy Cannobbio has confirmed that the series has been assigned a different timeslot for its fourth season on Disney XD. When directing The Force Awakens, Abrams was an integral player in writing the story for the film and may now do the same for the concluding chapter.

In another interview Johnson also revealed that the film is nearly ready, so it's a good time for Star Wars fans to get excited. Just maybe for Wolves fans, it will bring new hope of a Premier League return.

Disney paid $4 billion for the rights to the Star Wars franchise five years ago.

A week ago Colin Trevorrow left, or was forced to leave Star Wars: Episode IX, but now we have word that a familiar replacement is already lined up. Step outside of the box and you will be replaced. First up though is director Rian Johnson with The Last Jedi, which arrives on December 15th. The most corporate time of year will continue to be ruled by the original mega toy brand for the foreseeable future.

Abrams also directed the two Star Trek reboot movies and the cult film, Super 8, among others. So long as it's better than the Star Wars Holiday Special, there's nothing wrong with Star Wars during the holidays.
