A parent, Subhash Garg, was also present in the campus during the murder.

In the first statement made by the school management since the murder of Class 2 student Pradyuman in a school washroom, the group CEO Ryan Pinto called the incident one of the saddest periods for the school since its inception. In most cases, the perpetrator knows the victim. If Ashok Kumar slit Pradyuman's throat, then there would have been blood on his clothes. As Pradyuman lay on the floor, bleeding profusely from his mortal wounds, Ashok reportedly washed the murder weapon, threw it on the boy's body and walked away.

Meanwhile, the bus driver Saurabh, who was with the accused moments before the crime, disclosed that police and ryan school management forced him to adopt their version of event, which claimed that conductor Ashok brought the knife inside the school premises as it was part of the tool kit. The school claimed that the boy studying in class 1 went missing from his classroom and was found in the water tank two hours later.

'There were bloodstains on Kumar's shirt which may be due to the fact that he was carrying the boy'. Reaching the office building I saw Anju Ma'am and JS Thomas shouting that a child has been injured. Why did they not suspect anything? Parents protested, they continued with the protests today, there are legal charges being pressed against the school. They put him inside a WagonR auto and the principal withdrew cash from the office and took him away to the hospital, ' continued Garg, who was at the reception of the school on Friday to deposit the fees of his younger son.

The team also found that the school did not have separate washrooms for drivers and conductors and that it had hired a lot of staff without proper background checks and police verification. They had yesterday approached the high court seeking anticipatory bail apprehending arrest in the case.

Taking action on the report of the three-member Special Investigative Team (SIT) indicating lapses in security at Ryan International School, Gurgaon Police arrested two top officials of the school under section 75 of the Juvenile Justice act. The arrests came after the Haryana government ordered a criminal case against the school for the crime.

Surely, this case is far from resolved.

The letter sent to parents in the school's Gurgaon branches states, "We already have CCTV cameras outside toilets to keep a closer watch in this vulnerable area". The atmosphere in the school will not let her forget the incident.
