Conte I will return to Italy for sure

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has hinted he will not remain at Stamford Bridge in the long term, saying "I have in my head not to stay overseas for so long".

The former Juventus boss won the Premier League in his first season in charge at Stamford Bridge in style and has been heavily praised for his adaptation to the English game after a spell with the Italian national team.

And Conte sparked further rumours over his future in England when speaking to Radio Anch'io lo sport. I did not have it in my head to stay overseas for so long. I want to make some great experiences and move back to Italy afterwards.

"I don't know when, but I will return".

'China? No, absolutely not, ' he added.

"Foreseeing the future is always hard, ours is the most precarious work".

Chelsea lie third in the Premier League - three points behind leaders Manchester City, who they welcome to Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Let's just say that a coach is a temporary worker.

"I have nostalgia for Italy and this is without [a] doubt", he said.

'It depends on the results, but there's desire on my part to try to do the best I can, finishing one project and then finding the right one to continue.

"Still, this experience is helping me so much". I would also like to change role, maybe become a sporting director in the future.

And Conte aimed a jibe at English managers, saying: "Are we better than the English?"

'There are so many parts of the world here, but everyone here is good, prepared and among the best in the world'.
