Razer Blade Stealth and Core V2 detailed

Razer has cooked up a new recipe for its Blade Stealth, with the refreshed Ultrabook now having an Intel 8th-gen quad-core processor as a fresh ingredient.

Don't worry if you prefer the Stealth but still want to plug in for some games, though.

In the 13-inch Quad-HD+ (3200 x 1800 pixel) Razer Blade Stealth 2017, the company has included an IGZO touchscreen panel with 100-percent sRGB color. Razer says this memory is meant to be used for "extreme multitasking".

Razer's super portable laptop is getting a little boost.

As opposed to the 7th generation dualcore processor, the Razer Blade Stealth can now be purchased with an 8th Generation Core i7 processor, it's the 1.8GHz i7-8550U.

"Our engineers have done something truly remarkable with the new Blade Stealth by significantly increasing power while extending battery life", Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said in a statement.

The Razer Core V2 is the second generation of external GPU enclosure (see the first one here).

The new Core sells for a familiar $499 and ships "soon" to North America as well as France, Germany and the UK. It now has dual Thunderbolt 3 controllers that splits the pipelines for both your video card and other devices, so you don't have to worry about the Core's Ethernet connection or USB ports taking precious bandwidth away from your GPU. It's available today in the United States and UK at Razer's online store. The Razer Core V2 will be "shipping soon" and will cost approximately $500, also from the Razer Store online.
