However, updates come few and far between.

"You'll definitely understand the "nod" to Jurassic Park" while watching the trailer. And with Saxton Hale having punched the last yeti to pieces (literally, as seen in the video below), the island has now become the latest battleground for TF2's dueling mercenaries.

After a decade of dustbowls and gravel pits, it's time to pack your snorkel, find your flip-flops, and endure a series of painful yellow fever vaccinations to your abdomen, because Team Fortress is heading to the tropics!
Details on the "Jungle Inferno" update have been broken up into four days. The TF2 community has also gotten in on the fun, with Valve also releasing five community-created maps: Lazarus (King of the Hill), Mossrock (Attack/Defend), Banana Bay (Payload Race), Enclosure (Payload), and Brazil (King of the Hill).

While some are still clinging onto dreams of sequels to Half Life and Left 4 Dead, it seems Valve are surprisingly still committed to supporting their beloved original team-based shooter with new maps and character cosmetics. These are primarily based on high-level feedback, and have a significant focus on Scout and Spy, although almost every class is getting a touch-up.
