Air India taking jibe at Indi Go tweets saying their service is unbeatable

The airline confirmed on Twitter that the image was not commissioned by them and it was, in fact, in "bad taste".

After the IndiGo Airlines came under fire for manhandling a flyer by its employees, the internet lashed out at the company, with many even taking the opportunity to troll the airline. The ad, bearing Jet Airways' logo, took a swipe at IndiGo for the incident. With IndiGo facing flak over the assault incident, its rival Air India today took an apparent dig at the country's leading private carrier, promising "Unbeatable Service". Each tweet was accompanied by an illustration, trolling IndiGo.

Also seen on Twitter was a parody ad for Jet Airways that said - "we beat our competition, not you". The second ad depicted the Air India's mascot "Maharaja" in his trademark inviting style with a tag line that read, "We raise our hands ONLY to say Namaste".

The Air India advertisement and the one made by an advertising tracking a firm (MOM) were later pulled out.

The footage shows two IndiGo runway staff blocking the passenger's attempts to board the Delhi airport shuttle bus - with one worker seen with his hands around the customer's neck before flooring him to the ground.

This tweet of Rohit was a satire on a disrespectful treatment met to a passenger named Mr. Katyal who was travelling on an Indigo flight about fifteen days ago and was manhandled by the Airline staff.

The passenger allegedly abused the staff following which they stopped Katiyal from boarding the bus, which was to take him to the terminal.

Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju has sought an independent inquiry into the incident from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. When he fights back, he is pinned to the ground and one staff is seen grabbing Katiyal by the throat.
