Nick Starkel threw for a career-high 416 yards and four touchdowns before sitting down at halftime as Texas A&M built a huge lead and cruised to a 55-14 win over New Mexico on Saturday night.

Starkel was making his first start since the season-opener against UCLA. It was the final game called by famed Aggie announced Dave South and the 50th victory of Kevin Sumlin's tenure at Texas A&M.

The Aggie defense had a shutout going through almost the entire first half until Elijah Lilly took a kickoff 100-yards back for a touchdown. It was also the first win in November for the Aggies, something that has become a problem for the team in recent years. The score was one of two New Mexico touchdowns in the game.

Here are three things we learned in the Aggies blowout of New Mexico in Week 11. Texas A&M takes on Ole Miss next week.
