Coming off a 47-10 woodshedding at the hands of the New Orleans Saints and a 34-21 loss to the woeful Jets, the Buffalo Bills are making a drastic change.

Peterman completed seven-of-10 passes for 79 yards and one touchdown in his limited action against the Saints after Taylor struggled mightily, completing only nine-of-18 passes for 56 yards and one interception.

Tyrod Taylor, battered by the Saints, is headed for the bench.

Peterman makes debut: The Bills played a meaningless fourth quarter for the second week in a row, but this one at least led to the National Football League debut of Bills rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman.

"I thought he did some good things", McDermott said of Peterman after Sunday's game.

Taylor entered Sunday's game having completed 65 percent of his passes for 1,628 yards, 10 touchdowns, two interceptions and a 95.8 passer rating.

"We are in the playoff hunt, and we are always focused on becoming the best team possible", McDermott said.

The Bills, led by veteran offensive coordinator Rick Dennison in his first year with the team, rank 28th in yards per game (292.0) and 19th in points per game (18.9).
