Police searching for missing woman, 8-year-old daughter
Megan Stack and her 8-year-old daughter, Ava, were found Wednesday morning safe in Missouri.
Officials with United Airlines said they are working with authorities after someone reported a sex assault on a flight to Charlotte Tuesday night. He said Ava was picked up from school Monday by her mother.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say 33-year-old Megan Stack left her home around 1:30 yesterday to pick up her daughter, Ava, and she has not been heard from since.
She is receiving a medical evaluation.
"She's my world. She's everything to me".
According to CMPD Spokesperson Rob Tufano, police looked at footage from the cameras at the school, and followed Megan Stacks financial transactions or any social media posts.
Another passenger on the flight said she saw a commotion in the back of the plane.
