All-Star Elton John Grammy Salute Concert Set for January

Joseph GuayIn January, two days after the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, Elton John will be saluted at a Grammy tribute concert which will air as a CBS-TV special later in 2018.

Elton John's career in music will be celebrated by a slew of artists at a special concert called "I'm Still Standing: A Grammy Salute", to be held at 8PM on January 30 at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden.

Miley Cyrus, Kesha, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Little Big Town, Chris Martin, Maren Morris, Sam Smith and Keith Urban - all of whom are current or past Grammy winners or nominees - will pay tribute to John, who will also perform.

"Sir Elton John is an global music legend who has captivated audiences across generations for more than five decades", says Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy.

'His creativity, dynamic presence, and melodic virtuosity have positioned him as a cultural icon, and the Recording Academy is pleased to honor his immeasurable contributions to the music community'.

Tickets will go on sale at noon ET on December 18, and are available for purchase at www.ticketmaster.com.

Elton John's monumental career has spanned more than three decades. He is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time, with 35 gold and 25 platinum albums and more than 300 million records sold worldwide.
