Opposing the bail plea on behalf of the juvenile, the CBI contended that the probe is still on and they are still interrogating to find the details of the murder.

According to psychological report of the accused, the juvenile was well aware of the consequences of the crime.

The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) also asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take fingerprints of the accused in connection with the murder case of 7-year-old Pradyuman Thakur of Gurugram's Ryan International School.

According to the CBI, the minor accused had murdered the child as he wanted the exams and the PTM postponed.

He will be lodged in an observation home in Faridabad during this period and produced before the JJB on December 20, when the court will give its verdict on whether he will be tried as juvenile or an adult.

Sources quoted by PTI had said that the juvenile court has appointed an independent welfare officer to monitor the investigation and questioning of the apprehended student.

Recently, bus conductor Ashok Kumar, who was initially arrested by the Gurugram police as the prime accused in the sensational murder case, had been granted bail by a court.

Pradyuman was found near the toilet of Ryan International School with his throat slit on 8 September morning within an hour of his father leaving him at the school.
