President Denies Disparaging Haiti, African Countries

Here's What Trump Had to Say About His 'Sh*thole Countries' Comment

Here's What Trump Had to Say About His 'Sh*thole Countries' Comment

"The most disheartening thing to me is my belief that that was the first time words that hateful have been spoken in the Oval Office of the White House".

"We always knew that President Trump doesn't like people from certain countries or people or certain colours", congressman Luis Gutierrez said. "Mr. President will you respond to these serious questions about your statement sir?"

But Republican Del. Pat McDonough tells WJZ Trump isn't the only president to use rough language in the White House, and he supports the president on immigration.

Despite his denial, Illinois Senator Dick Durbin has confirmed the derogatory comments went down.

Trump on Friday denied describing certain nations as "shithole countries" after triggering global outrage.

"S...hole was the exact word used once not twice but repeatedly", Durbin said. "This is particularly surprising as the United States of America remains a global example of how migration gave birth to a nation built on strong values of diversity and opportunity". To no surprise, the president started tweeting this morning, denying that he used those words. Members of Congress who were in the meeting when President Donald Trump referred to Haiti and African nations as "shithole countries" have different memories of what happened.

When the group discussed immigration from Africa, the aide said, Trump asked why we want all these people from "all these s-thole countries" and that the USA should have more people from places like Norway.

Republican senators Tom Cotton and David Purdue also attended the meeting.

Labossiere was among Haitians and Africans in the Bay Area and around the world who swiftly called Trump out for his comments, calling them blatantly racist.

He was there to learn more about their "Jobs On The Outside" Program which helps people with a criminal background find work.

"We are strongly committed in the Special Relationship between our two countries and we are confident the new Embassy will provide the necessary platform to continue our cooperation", the statement read. Never said 'take them out.' Made up by Dems.

A United Nations human rights official also branded the outburst racist.

- There's an estimated 36,000 Haitians living in Central Florida and they're reacting to President Trump's comments about their country.
