Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun played a cricket match in Australia and it seems he has wooed the media in the country with his skills and his words "I'm just so privileged to play on the ground named after the Bradman, it's unbelievable", Arjun Tendulkar is quoted by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Arjun Tendulkar has provided a number of good performances in the a year ago and his match-winning contributions in the Cooch Behar Trophy kept him in the limelight.

While talking to, he spoke about how he always wanted to become a fast bowler. The 18-year-old is now in Australia to take part in Spirit of Cricket Global Challenge, a competition organised by the Sydney Cricket Ground. For a change, it was the young Tendulkar playing at the historic Bradman Oval.

Arjun Tendulkar has been turning heads for his bowling unlike his father.

Unlike Sachin, who was a batting maestro, Arjun has his eyes fixed on fast-bowling and said that he loves bowling fast since childhood. "I thought I may as well be a quick bowler because there aren't many in India".

Hong Kong batsman Mark Fuzes, who faced Arjun, said, "I wasn't out there for long enough to feel too much facing him but it's good".

Arjun Tendulkar is more interested in his bowling and the left-arm pacer idolizes Australia pacer Mitchell Starc and England all-rounder Ben Stokes.

"[He says] just play fearlessly, play for your team, be a team man and give everything you've got", he said. "It's nice to see a young lad with a lot of expectation on him come out here", Fuzes was quoted as saying by ABC News.

Arjun Tendulkar is determined to forge his own path as a cricketer and not rely on the family name, but he said he was taking some advice from his dad.

Taking the ongoing attention in his stride, Arjun Tendulkar said he was focussed on enjoying the game and running his own race. He further mentioned his game plan regarding which bowler to go after and which bowler to not, "I don't take that pressure, when I bowl I just hit the deck hard on every ball and when I bat just play my shots and choose which bowlers to take on and which bowlers not to".
