Bournemouth came from behind to register a 2-1 win over Arsenal, who were without Alexis Sanchez, at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Callum Wilson restored parity for Bournemouth in the 70th minute, stabbing home a cross from the right flank before Ibe bagged the victor.

Hector Bellarin gave the Gunners the lead early in the second half, but Callum Wilson and Jordon Ibe responded to condemn the Gunners to defeat on the south coast.

Having won just one of their last five Premier League matches, Arsenal remain sixth with 39 points - five behind rivals Tottenham in fifth. We had to win the game.

Arsenal must now dust themselves down as they look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Crystal Palace at The Emirates next weekend.

In a goalless first period, Ainsley Maitland-Niles came closest for Arsenal, as he rattled the bar.

Jamie Redknapp has claimed Arsene Wenger's current team is the worst Arsenal side he has ever seen. At the other end, Bournemouth had a strong penalty appeal waved away after Alex Iwobi appeared to handle the ball in the area. Iwobi slotted an excellent pass inside left-back Charlie Daniels, allowing Bellerin to advance on Begovic before beating the keeper with a powerful angled shot.

But with a much-needed three points there for the taking, Arsenal capitulated against their spirited hosts.

First Petr Cech was unable to cut out Fraser's teasing cross with Wilson converting before Ibe smashed home after Wilson did brilliantly to tee him up.

Alexandre Lacazette, a player who has been low on confidence of late started up top - and with Sanchez departing the Frenchman now has an even bigger onus on him to become Arsenal's main goal scorer, something he couldn't manage on the day.
