EPL: Bournemouth come from behind to beat lacklustre Arsenal 2-1

Wenger braced for Sanchez exit after star forward sits out Bournemouth loss

Callum Wilson nicked in ahead of Petr Cech to score the equaliser in the 70th minute and four minutes later the stirker turned provider to set up Jordon Ibe for the victor.

But with Wenger's side looking comfortable two quick-fire goals from the Cherries won the game for Bournemouth.

First Petr Cech was unable to cut out Fraser's teasing cross with Wilson converting before Ibe smashed home after Wilson did brilliantly to tee him up.

Glorious stuff, unless you're an Arsenal fan, in which case it's another symptom of just how quickly they threw three points away.

The Cherries nearly made the breakthrough in the 40th minute through Ryan Fraser after some great work by Jordon Ibe saw the ball fall to the Scot, but Calum Chambers came flying in to make the block.

Wenger has been left frustrated by the defeat, which he admits he did not see coming.

Arsenal lost further ground on the Premier League's top four after struggling Bournemouth came from behind to beat them 2-1 on Sunday.

"It is very frustrating".

'Overall we have to look at it in a very objective and harsh way we made mistakes we should not have made.

"The team that fights against relegation will fight and you can not afford any concentration mistake", Wenger added.

Wenger moved to a back four between the two goals and conceded it might not have helped his team for the second goal.

Arsenal changed to a back four moments before conceding the victor, and when asked whether that was a mistake on his part, Wenger answer: "Maybe a little bit but 1-1 was not good enough for us". We looked a bit lacklustre in the final third, not sharp enough to create chances and that's why as well when you are 1-0 up normally you should create more to be unsafe and we paid for that. We have gone 6 games without a win and we have to play Chelsea again on Wednesday!
