Alison Brie defends brother-in-law James Franco saying reports are not 'fully accurate'

The 35-year-old Brie married Franco's younger brother and The Disaster Artist co-star Dave Franco back in March 2017. News at the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet.

Alison - who's nominated for her role in Netflix's Glow - said: 'I think that above all what we've always said is it remains vital that anyone that feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward.

She added: "But, of course, now is a time for listening and that's what we're all trying to do".

Giuliana Rancic briefly brought up the actress' support of Time's Up, a movement that helps provide legal aid for victims of sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace, before transitioning into the recent allegations against Franco.

Earlier this month, James, 39, was the subject of a bombshell Los Angeles Times report in which four women claimed the actor "abused his power" and sexually exploited them as their teacher at his Studio 4 film school.

"The things that I heard that were on Twitter are not accurate, but I completely support people coming out and being able to have a voice..."

"In my life, I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I've done".

"Breakfast Star" Ally Sheedy also alluded to misconduct after his win at the Golden Globes, but has not explained further.

"I can't live if there's restitution to be made. I do it whenever I know that there is something wrong and needs to be changed", he said. I think we're waiting to get all the information.
