Paul Ponticello remembered his niece as "quickly becoming the centre of attention" of the large family and said her "determination and strength of character shone through as she clung to life for three weeks".

Less than a fortnight ago, mourners gathered at the same church to celebrate the lives of Jessica's parents and sister, who were killed near Ulladulla on the state's south coast after a four-wheel drive slammed into the Falkholt family's auto.

Jessica Falkholt died on Wednesday six days after her life support was turned off following the Boxing Day crash on the New South Wales coast.

Twelve days after the funerals of her mother, father and younger sister, actress Jessica Falkholt has been farewelled by hundreds of mourners in Sydney.

The 29-year-old died on Wednesday from injuries she sustained in the horror vehicle crash that took the lives of her parents, Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60, and her sister Annabelle, 21.

Australian actor Jessica Falkholt's uncle has choked back tears at her funeral service while also condemning the drug-addict driver who tore his family apart.

Her cousin Cathy Randazzo said Jessica was "vibrant, well mannered and kind-natured with a positive attitude to life".

Lars Falkholt, his wife Vivian, and their daughter Annabelle were killed while Jessica Falkholt later died after being on life support.

"An entire family has been taken by events totally beyond their control", Ponticello said.

The family extended their thanks to hospital staff who treated Jessica for more than three weeks as she fought for life.

'What occurred does not fit neatly within the definition of accident'. You were a rising star. "Shine bright, you will always be remembered in our hearts forever".

Instead of flowers, mourners were asked to make donations to Australian Cancer Research. Jessica has been remembered as a "gorgeous soul" and talented actor who was a pleasure to work with.

Jessica Falkholt played the role of Hope Morrison in the TV series Home and Away, and also stars in the title role of the film Harmony, to be released this year.

Home and Away stars Pia Miller, Jackson Heywood, Philippa Northeast and Isabella Giovinazzo were among the mourners. Olivia Deeble, who worked onset as Jessica's sister Raffy also showed up to bid her costar farewell. "Our friendship will never be forgotten", she wrote on Facebook.
