Solo: A Star Wars Story: Harrison Ford offers advice to actor Alden Ehrenreich

"Who the character was and the conversations he had for so many years with George about how that character developed", Kennedy said. [Laughs] Which is really hard to play.

But it's undeniably great seeing a stylish young Lando, with all of Billy Dee Williams' Empire Strikes Back suaveness combined with Glover's own magnetism - he stole and might do the same with the whole movie. The goal is that the shadow of Qi'ra is there in Han as a character that we know.

As for the pressure of starring in a Star Wars film? "I think Harrison played that beautifully, and Alden and I talked about both of those ideas a lot". Like everybody else is doing the big stuff and we're just kind of making this stupid, cool, really amusing, weird movie and no one's looking.

"What [Ford] did so beautifully for Alden was he talked a lot about what he remembered when he first read 'Star Wars, ' and what George had done with Han".

Good to see the new Han Solo still retains some Harrison Ford, as it should be.

"Harrison's a very thoughtful actor and an artist and I wanted to know what he learned about the character", the Oscar-winning director said. And whilst it is Han Solo's movie, this girl gets to be badass. Qi'ra's journey is definitely one of survival and strength. But she also is so smart she calls me out on it. She used to make everything more fun.

The first teaser trailer for Solo was released earlier this week; finally giving fans a glimpse of Ehrenreich in action. "He said, 'Just be interested in things'". Let us know in the comments section below.

Elsewhere in the cast are the likes of Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Thandie Newton. But Entertainment Weekly has now revealed a little more about what we can expect from the upcoming Star Wars spin-off, as well as showcasing some new images.

"Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and unsafe criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes".

Mark Hamill is sharing his thoughts on Solo: A Star Wars Story, and what it meant to him for the late Carrie Fisher to win a posthumous GRAMMY Award.
