Honor 7X Gets Face Unlock Feature

The main lens is downgraded from 16 to 13 megapixels, with a secondary 2MP sensor contributing to (middling) portrait photography. Underneath, the phone runs on a Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor, 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of internal memory which is expandable, and a 3000mAh battery.

Honor has preloaded EMUI 8.0, which is based on Android Oreo, on the 7C. The Honor 7C does resemble the Honor 7X quite a bit, but this phone is inferior to the Honor 7X, and it's also more affordable.

Honor, Huawei's other smartphone brand, has today introduced the "C" edition of its seventh-generation line of budget phones with the launch of the Honor 7C in China. On the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Honor 7C sports rather thin bezels, similar to the Honor 7X, and all of its physical buttons are located on the right. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. While the Honor 7C with 3GB of RAM costs 899 Yuan (approx $142 / Rs. 9,250), the variant with 4GB of RAM costs 1299 Yuan (approx $205 / Rs. 13,350). It also supports face unlock. This phone offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS / GLONASS. The phone will be available in Red, Black, Gold, and Blue colour variants. It measures 158.30 x 76.70 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 164.00 grams. The Honor 7C will go on sale starting from March 13 while the pre-orders are already started.
