Cameron Meredith: Gets original-round tender

March 12: Chiefs slot receiver Albert Wilson, who sources said at the NFL Scouting Combine could be headed for a reunion with Bears coach Matt Nagy, is ready for free agency.

Chicago is expected to sign the wide receiver when the National Football League year begins at 4 p.m. ET Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported early Tuesday.

Robinson missed nearly all of the 2017 season and he had a down year in 2016 but he's proven to be a star in the right situation, evidenced by the 80-catch, 1,400 receiving yard, 14 touchdown campaign in 2015. Robinson had one reception for 17 yards.

Here's an updated and running look at the Chicago Bears' 2018 Free Agency Big Board that Bears Wire posted before the legal tampering period began on Monday. He had a monster year in 2015, with 80 catches for 1,400 yards and a franchise-record 14 touchdown receptions, and he appeared to be on the cusp of joining the elite list of receivers in the NFL.

Robinson's injury paired with the Jaguars' tight salary cap situation led to him hitting the open market. He had 73 catches for 883 yards and six touchdowns in 2016.
