APC- Another Crisis hits APC as Obanikoro Yayi supporters Clash in Lagos

Others who gave similar pledge at an event tagged, "Stakeholders Endorsement Declaration", organised by APC, Lagos West Senatorial District, which took place at the Blue Roof, LTV premises, Agindingbi, Ikeja, include Chief Funso Ologunde, APC federal and state lawmakers, party chairmen in all the 28 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) that made the districts, market women, the Arewa communities, the South-South and South-East groups as well as APC youth groups.

PoliticsNGR gathered that if not for the timely intervention of the Lagos state police command all hell would have let loose as the supporters physically confronted each other over who between both politicians deserved the senatorial ticket.

Trouble started when Yayi entered the venue with his supporter amidst heavy drumming and jubilations.

IN apparent response to public outcry over persistent gridlock across Lagos metropolis, the State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has taken steps to tackle the resultant traffic, inaugurating a committee to address the issue immediately. He said, "when you talk of achievement, even the blind in Lagos can see what Governor Ambode has done in less than three years, which cuts across every sector of the economy".

"We assure Mr Akinwunmi Ambode of our unalloyed and untainted support; we are ready and prepared to work assiduously for him to emerge as the party candidate, and to go on and win the Lagos State gubernatorial election for the Second term".

In an interview with newsmen yesterday, Lawanson, said: "We want a more collaborative approach and that is why we have involved the unions because they know the commercial drivers more than anyone in the state", he added.
