The Buffalo Bills have brought in another former Panther when they agreed to sign defensive tackle Star Lotulelei to a 5-year deal once free agency opens, according to ESPN. "At 6'2" and 315 pounds, however, the Utah product is a prototypical run-stuffer and space-eater in the middle of the line.

If Lotulelei serves as the replacement for traded Marcell Dareus, Williams can continue in his role as an an underrated disruptor with at least five sacks in four of his past six seasons. Lotulelei will immediately fill that void for Buffalo.

Lotulelei was drafted by the Panthers in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft when both Bills coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane were employed by the Panthers.

Kyle Williams has been one of the Bills' mainstays, but he's an unrestricted free agent and hasn't made it clear if he wants to play another season at age 34.

His future in Carolina was uncertain after the Panthers signed defensive tackle Kawann Short to a five-year, $80 million contract extension last off-season, and also used a first-round pick to draft Vernon Butler last year.

O'Leary caught a career-high 22 passes for 322 yards and two touchdowns last season in 15 games, including five starts. He has been a starter for all 12 of his previous seasons.
