Expect a quiet and cool start to the work week

The sky will start cloudy before slowly clearing through the afternoon.

A few snow showers will creep back into the picture over the next few days, as Old Man Winter continues to hang on. If the low can develop and track across western Montana, bands of moderate to heavy snow would be likely for mountain passes.

We'll have the luck of the Irish on our side this weekend.

We should clear most of the clouds out of here by mid-morning Monday with ample sunshine through the rest of the day.

Snow amounts would barely be noticable since most surface temperatures will be remaining above freezing.

A light dusting of snow is possible in some of our communities and slick roads are possible Tuesday. Those chances for snow showers continue through the evening and into early Wednesday before tapering off. The low will be near 28.

We begin to warm on Thursday as high pressures moves to our east and winds become more southerly.

You might need to get the blankets out and turn the heater on tonight as lows will be dropping into the lower 40s, with some upper 30s possible for our northern parishes and rural areas.

Windy and chilly with clouds, some sun, and a couple of snow showers, especially in the morning. The next system is pressing in overnight, and we do welcome a chance for showers before sunrise tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow night: Partly to mostly cloudy. We will be into the mid 40s on Saturday and we should hit 50 degrees Sunday.
