Hitting out at the BJP at a press conference at the CM's residence, Sisodia said it was unfortunate that the party's representatives did not attend the meeting called to find a solution to the sealing issue.

He said the announcement by Delhi Government that it will soon notify the 351 roads indicates that the AAP Government not only neglected its duty of protecting the traders from sealing but it also complicated the issue to an extent that Centre was also facing difficulties in bringing an end to the sealing crisis.

Cong MPs will raise sealing issue in Parliament along with AAP MPs. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), have issued a statement that states, 2, 500 traders associations are going to take part in the portest against the shutting of their shops by the authorities. We will go to the monitoring committee to discuss MPD, its interpretation, and sealing. He said that the Delhi government had not met the Monitoring Committee since the sealing drive began, adding that the chief minister had also agreed to a meeting with the committee.

Sisodia said the government would create opportunities for both parties to apprise the monitoring committee about their views on the sealing. Following their agitation, an interim relief came from the top court which stayed the sealings to review the Delhi Master Plan 2021.

He alleged that through the sealing drive, the BJP wanted to pave the way for foreign direct investments in retail in the national capital. The meeting was called by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. "It's sad that the BJP didn't attend the meeting and played politics", said Mr. Sisodia.

AAP and the government were represented by Kejriwal, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, urban development minister Satyendar Jain, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, AAP's Delhi convener Gopal Rai and MLA Somnath Bharti.

Mr. Maken said that the situation would only get worse with sealing drives at unauthorised colonies possible in the future.

Later, Kejriwal also tweeted, "Had a v good meeting wid reps of Congress. BJP boycotted".

"We have given a representation to the CM, and will send this to the BJP also, in which we have divided the city into six parts".

After the meeting, Maken said the discussion was fruitful.

The Congress leader said the Delhi government's view had not been appropriately presented before the court. "The government must make a submission properly in the court with conviction", Maken said.
