McGraw kissed Hill's hand as they walked out on stage for the first performance of their Soul2Soul tour outside the USA and later introduced her to the crowd as "my wife, Mrs McGraw".

McGraw, 50, dropped to his knees when he had just finished singing "Humble & Kind" and took a seat.

A day earlier, Tim briefly collapsed onstage in Ireland during his set at the Country to Country festival.

After around 20 minutes, McGraw's wife, fellow country star Faith Hill, with whom he was touring, went onstage to address the waiting crowd. "The light was quickly turned off and you could see his crew helping him off - and the band ran over as well", the source said.

McGraw collapsed onstage while performing his hit "Humble & Kind" on Sunday night. The country music superstar's wife Faith Hill later told the crowd on his behalf, "He's been super dehydrated".

The gig, at Dublin's 3 Arena was the final date of a three-day, three-city tour of the United Kingdom, as part of the Country to Country festival. "I apologize, but I made the decision that he can not come back out on stage", Hill said in a video, captured on a fan's Instagram page.

'He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine.

Sounds like he agrees with Doc Hill's diagnosis - Tim told us he'll be doing less flying for a while. He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon, ' a rep said in a statement to fans.

McGraw and Hill will resume their Soul2Soul world tour in Richmond, Virginia, on May 31.
