Hero Moto Corp – Passion PRO

Hero Moto Corp – Passion PRO

Positioned above the Passion Pro, the XPro also comes with a LED tail lamps and dual-tone mirrors. Both bikes share the same 110 cc engine. The two new products are set to further consolidate the leadership of Hero MotoCorp in the domestic motorcycle market, where the Company commands over 50% market share.

According to Ashok Bhasin, head - sales and customer care, Hero MotoCorp, "Hero MotoCorp is the clear market leader with over 50 percent market share in the domestic motorcycle market in India, and also leads the 100‐110cc segment with over 75 percent market share". The Passion 100cc has been now growing at around 20 per cent, Bhasin added. We think that the 2018 Passion Pro is among the most stylish looking 110cc commuter motorcycles.

Adding to the style quotient are the five bold metallic color schemes - Sports red - strong and bright, Black monotone- exciting and premium, Force silver metallic - bold and vibrant, Heavy grey metallic - sober and elegant, Frost blue metallic - cool and modern. Cosmetic updates include new fuel tank design with flush type cap, and a signature rear taillight. It also features a new part-digital instrument cluster that integrates digital readouts for the odometer, speedometer and fuel gauge apart from a side-stand indicator. The bikes also get Auto Headlamp On (AHO) function to meet the new regulations. In addition, the Passion XPro has a longer swingarm, stiffer suspension setup and it is heavier by about 3 kg than the Passion Pro. The Passion features tank extensions and that results in slightly smaller 9.2-litre fuel tank over Passion Pro. Talking about competition, the new Hero Passion duo will rival the likes of the TVS Victor, Honda Dream series and the recently launched Bajaj Discover 110.

The new Passion PRO draws its unmatched performance from a BS-IV compliant 110cc TOD (Torque on Demand) engine, producing a maximum power output of 7.0 (9.4) kW (PS) @ 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 9.0 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Both the models are offered with drum as well as disc variants.
