Kiwanis Egg Hunt Set



Get your photo taken with the Easter Bunny and enjoy refreshments, games and music with a DJ. Bring a basket for the hunt and a camera.

Short of Santa, the Easter Bunny is a main photo event for most little ones.

Those planning to attend are asked to bring their own basket for gathering the eggs and the hunt is hosted at the fields behind the school. Don't forget your basket to this free event! Admission is $5 per family.

VALPARAISO - Families are invited to take photos with the Easter Bunny at Gabis Arboretum from 10 4 p.m. March 17, 18, 24-31. Now in its 28th year, the Sumner Easter Egg Hunt will have three hunts divided up by age group: 9:00 a.m. for one to three-year-olds; 10:00 a.m. for four to seven-year-olds; 11:00 a.m. for eight to 11-year-olds. All proceeds go to further the arboretum's mission of environmental education, conservation, restoration and sustainability. Three egg hunts will be set up, one for children on the autism spectrum, another for children who are blind or visually impaired, and one for children in wheelchairs or have mobility restrictions. This hunt will begin promptly at 1 p.m.

And don't miss the free Easter Egg Hunt on March 31 at 2:00 p.m. Find five eggs and turn them in for free candy. Eggs are filled with candy and gifts with special prize eggs for each age group. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be available, sponsored by Downtown Truro Partnership.

Watch as the Easter Bunny lands at Spencer Aircraft. Enjoy a continental breakfast of doughnuts, bananas, grapes, granola bars, Rice Krispie treats, milk and juice at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. seatings March 24.

The scavenger hunt also starts in the lower park. Small crafts for children age 2 and older. Parents please bring basket/bag for collecting eggs. Free pictures with the Easter Bunny and kids crafts will take place along with the breakfast.

HAMMOND - Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr., Hammond Parks & Recreation, the Hammond Parks Foundation Inc. and the American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association invite Hammond residents to bring children ages 1 to 14 to the 15th annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 25.
