Another day, another lockdown, as South Jersey high school deals with threat

A school in California was put on lockdown Wednesday after a shooting threat. I'm sick of this sh*t.

As students across the nation participated in a national walkout against gun violence, San Leandro High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday after threatening graffiti was found on campus. "Better not come. F**ck this place". We also brought in some K-9's to search the hallways, and do a very comprehensive search the best we can to ensure the safety of the school, students and staff.

- NBC Bay Area (@nbcbayarea) March 14, 2018The San Leandro school district said the move is a "strictly a precautionary move in order to systematically inspect the school grounds", KTVU reported.

School officials said the graffiti indicated a school shooting would happen. The school district posted on its Facebook page that one of the boys was with the administration and the other boy was at home with dad.

The Sheriff's Office says the threat was unsubstantiated, but the school was on lockdown about 90 minutes as the investigation progressed. During the lockdown, students are not allowed to leave the campus.
