Illinois State Police say William Krantz, 28, was driving a 1996 gold Saturn at about 11:20 p.m. Friday when it went off the road on North State Road, east of US 45, about two miles south of Louisville.

The 37-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Landcruiser on Washington Drive, Bonnet Bay, this morning when the auto crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a parked vehicle.

The baby was taken to the hospital as a precaution and then dropped off with her mother, police said. Three children, aged nine, seven, and three, were also seen to get out of the vehicle.

She was arrested and taken to Sutherland Police Station where she was subjected a breath analysis, allegedly returning a reading of 0.367.

"The fact she didn't kill or seriously injure someone with such high blood alcohol content is extremely fortunate".

The woman was charged with high-range PCA and had her license immediately suspended.

The woman was conditionally bailed and expected to appear at Sutherland Local Court in May.

Police have also made children at risk notifications to Family and Community Services (FACS).
